吾言甚易知

吾言甚易知，甚易行。天下莫能知，莫能行。言有宗，事有君。夫唯无知，是以不我知。知我者希，则我者贵。是以圣人被褐怀玉。
The simplest truths are the hardest to live. You know that rest matters, yet you overwork. You know that kindness matters, yet you hold grudges. Knowing is not enough — living is.
吾言甚易知甚易行——我的道理容易明白容易实行。
天下莫能知莫能行——但天下没有人明白没有人实行。
言有宗事有君——言论有宗旨，行为有根据。
知我者希则我者贵——了解我的人越少，效法我的人越可贵。
圣人被褐怀玉——圣人外穿粗布衣，内怀珍贵玉（外表朴素内心智慧）。
