Why water is the highest good — the core Taoist metaphor
“The highest good is like water. Water benefits all things without contention. It stays in places others despise, and so it is close to the Tao.”
Water is soft, yet it wears down stone. It yields, yet it overcomes. For the modern woman: your gentleness is not weakness — it is your greatest strategic advantage.
